The Making A Difference Through Kindness Outstanding Member Honoree

The Kindness Campaign relies on the generosity of civic minded, community-oriented people who are a positive social influencer in the community. Our campaign would not have the positive impact and influence without “boots on the ground”.

The “Making A Difference Through Kindness Honoree” celebrates the spirit of civic engagement demonstrated by persons who are making significant contributions through their time, actions, talents and dedication. The honoree exemplifies compassion, and service.

Tim Kaczocha

The Kindness Campaign relies on the generosity of kind people who are committed to being positive social influencers in their communities. Our campaign would not have the positive impact and influence without their “boots on the ground”.

For generations, the community has served an important role in our individual lives by acting as a support system. A strong community benefits everyone, the community itself, and the greater society. Conscious, engaged community members create a strong community.

For this reason, Tim Kaczocha is being honored as the November 2018 Making A Difference Through Kindness Outstanding Member Honoree.

Tim Kaczocha is a recently retired Principal from Mercer Human Resources, a global employee benefits consulting firm; he understands the importance of “leveling the playing field” so that everyone can not only have equal opportunity, but also make significant contributions to society.

Tim currently serves as the Vice President of the Chicago Community Tool Bank, a nonprofit tool lending program that provides fellow nonprofit organizations with year-round access to an inventory of tools for use in volunteer projects and facility and grounds maintenance.  Tim also serves as the webmaster for Life Quilt Foundation, an organization he helped found with his wife, Kim Holmes, that is breaking the barriers of educational success by providing students’ basic needs.

Tim is a loyal White Sox fan and grew up in Hammond, IN. He attended Lake Central High School, Shimer College, University of Illinois at Chicago and DePaul University. Tim is married to Kim Holmes and is a proud parent of two and a grandparent of four; Tim is a very devoted family man and sets a great example for his children.

The Kindness Campaign is proud to honor Tim Kaczocha as the November 2018 Making A Difference Through Kindness Outstanding Member Honoree for his leadership, dedication and passion to serve as a community leader, contributor and role model.
